- Introduction
These terms and conditions directly apply to every purchase and use of our site, The Custom Patch. When you place an order on our site, you agree to be bound by these terms. We keep updating these conditions from time to time, and all the updates will be posted on this page with a new date.
- Using Our Site
You have to be over 18 to place your order for patches according to a legally binding contract. You agree not to misuse this site by interfering with pricing, disrupting site questions, or attempting to extract data about its users. You have to keep your account details secure.
- Payment
Before production starts the payment is required for every order, unless credit terms have been separately agreed. We accept multiple payment methods, all listed on the checkout page. We have the right to decline or cancel the order at our discretion, including where a pricing or listing error has occurred.
- Refunds
You can return the unused or non-custom stock items within 30 days for a full refund from our side. Custom-made patches are not eligible for a refund once we start production, except if you receive a faulty patch.
Because patches are handmade, minor variation from the original artwork (colour, size, or finish) is normal and not treated as a fault. If you believe your order is faulty or doesn’t match the approved mockup, contact us within 7 days of delivery. If we agree an item is defective, we’ll reproduce and reship it at no cost to your doorstep. You can even get a refund where a mistake isn’t appropriate, in line with your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Cancellations
You can cancel a non-rush order anytime before the production begins for a full refund. After the production of patches starts (including mould-making or setup work for your specific order), we deduct the cost from the payment you have already made. You cannot cancel an order once your order is fully produced. Also, you cannot cancel rush orders once you confirm them.
- Delivery
We aim to deliver every order within the timeframe agreed at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs checks, courier delays, or circumstances outside our control (including extreme weather or carrier disruption) once goods have been handed to the courier. The delays happens when you revise the order, such as update design, quantity, or data changes once the order begins, are not our responsibility.
- Your Artwork and Intellectual Property
By submitting your artwork to your team, you are confirming that you own the artwork, or you have the right to use it. Additionally, you agree to any claim arising from its use. All the rights in our website, content, and material remain our property. Nothing about these terms gives you the ownership of our content.
- Liability
We do not take responsibility for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profiles or lost data, arising from your order or use of our site. Our terms and conditions do not support any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, whether it includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
- Confidentiality
Every piece of personal data you need to share while ordering patches on our site will be kept secure and confidential; we use it only to fulfil the order.
- Governing Law
The Laws of England and Wales govern all these terms and conditions we have explained; any violation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
